Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Junior High Cross Country teams travelled to Speedway for a dual meet Tuesday afternoon. In the boys race Ari Smith and Owen Young finished first and second with a 12:46 and 13:36 respectively followed closely by Wyatt Delp in 6th place with a 13:53. Nate Muir continued to improve with a 14:53 and Rex Stanley crossed the line in 15:49 with Hayden Trenary in at 15:58. Abigayle Humphrey continues to lead the Lady Stars finishing in 14:42 with Alisha Manning getting a new personal best of 16:53. Britney Richwine pushed through adversity and finished in 20:10. Both teams will travel to Danville this Thursday for what looks to be another hot afternoon race. Good luck Stars!
