Some News from the IHSAA: 1. At this time there is hope to have an abbreviated spring sports season after May 1st. 2. All Athletic Practices and Contests are cancelled through May 1st. 3. The number of practices required once we return is reduced to 5 for every Spring Sport prior to a contest. 4.

Stars finish 2nd and 3rd at Clinton Central

On Tuesday night, the Star swim teams traveled to Clinton Central to face the Bulldogs as well as Tecumseh in a three-way meet. The girls team finished 2nd behind Clinton Central 136-116. The Western Boone junior high wrestling team hosted their last dual meet of the season against Clinton Prairie on Tuesday. The Stars came out victorious beating the Gophers 67-18. Stars place 2nd and 2 crowned Champions at Wrestlemania

The Western Boone junior high wrestling team hosted Wrestlemania on Saturday. The Stars placed 2nd out of 13 teams overall; only falling short of 1st place by 6 points. Webo had two Champions; Mason Adams and Kameron Mikesell. The Stars had 17 out of 25 wrestlers place in the top 6 of their weight classes.
