The Western Boone girls golf team turned in another strong performance Thursday, defeating long-time rival Lebanon 164–208. The victory marked the Stars’ 51st consecutive 9-hole team win, an incredible streak that continues to showcase their consistency and dominance. Ally Lewis and Jada Scott led the way, each carding a 38. Ila Stokes added a 42, while Jaylee Dickerson and Lexi Gregg each posted 46 to round out the varsity scoring. In JV play, Isabella Fettig shot 52, Rylee Pelley 51, Isabelle Sturgis 62, Mady Monks 52, Jordan Sterling 58, and Caydence Paris 61. Olivia Tintera contributed with a 58 from 100 yards out. Coach Katie Pilkington praised her team’s growth, noting that the girls “learned valuable lessons about the rules of golf” — lessons they’ll carry into conference competition this weekend.
