Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone girls’ golf team earned a big MAC conference victory at Rocky Ridge on Tuesday, defeating North Montgomery by a score of 178–194. Leading the way for the Stars was Ally Lewis, who fired a 38 to earn medalist honors for the match. She was followed by strong performances from Jada Scott (43), Gregg Fettig (46), Jaylee D. (51), and Ila Stokes (52). Additional contributions came from Fettig (54), Rylee Pelley (61), and Sturgis (66). The Stars struggled on the greens but showed strong play with their mid-irons, which helped them secure the victory. They return to play on Thursday to take on Lebanon at Cool Lake.
