Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

Western Boone’s 8th Girls Basketball season came to a close last night. The Stars were defeated by Lebanon in the opening round of the Sagamore Conference Tournament by a final score of Lebanon 30, WEBO 20. The stars were led in scoring by Cadence Paris, who finished with nine points. Lyla Kinsler had six points and Ashton Pelley three. WEBO played great team defense, only allowing 16 points over the final three quarters. Mady Monks and Brooklyn Wagner played well inside giving the Tigers few second chance opportunities. Estelle Walker and Kensley Blankenship both provided valuable minutes off the bench in a fast paced game. The Stars finish the season with a record of 5-9.
