The Stars came out strong, playing aggressive defense and putting up 17 points in the first quarter. The team continued to play well into the second half, executing on offense and getting good looks at the basket. Throughout the game, the Lady Stars stayed consistent on both ends of the court and played together to get the awesome team win. The Stars were led in scoring by Ally Lewis with 31 points, followed by Ki'erra Koch with 12 points. Emmerson Gott played strong defense, finishing the game with 6 blocks. The Lady Stars are back in action on Thursday at Monrovia. Go Stars! The JV Girls Basketball team hosted Rossville for a two quarter home game Tuesday evening. The Stars started off hot getting 8 quick points but went cold to finish the first half 8 to 7. In the second, WeBo struggled to get traction and finished the game with a loss of 15 to 20. This young team played well together and they continue to learn and grow as a team. The Stars will play again this Thursday at Monrovia.
