Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone girls' golf team was able to defend their Monon Athletic Conference title on Saturday at Crawfordsville Country Club. With a score of 355, the girls finished in 1st place for the Conference Championship. They were able to hold off Southmont (378) and North Montgomery (387) who rounded out the top 3. The Stars were also able to get 4 girls on the all-conference team this season. Ally Lewis placed 1st individual in the conference by shooting a 76. Jada Scott was 2nd place individual shooting an 86. Ainsley Thompson had a PR for high school shooting a 93 and placing 7th in conference. Finishing out the scoring for Webo was Lexi Gregg who was able to secure the final all-conference spot by shooting a 100. Rylee Pelley also played for the Stars shooting a 104 and placing in a tie for 12th as an individual. This makes 3 consecutive conference championships for the lady stars golf team. This also brings the Stars overall record to 40-0 on the year with a 9-hole record of 14-0- and an 18-hole record of 26-0. The Stars play their final 9-hole match of the season on Tuesday against North Putnam and then begin looking forward to defending their sectional championship on Saturday at Harrison Hills.
