The JH cross country team traveled to Noblesville to compete in the Miller Rock Invitational

The Junior High Cross Country Team traveled to Noblesville Saturday morning for the Miller Rock Invitational featuring some of the best talent central Indiana has to offer. The near perfect weather and great competition pushed Webo to collectively run their best times of the year. The girls sprinted off the start line led by Joan Gearheart finishing 15th with a season best time of 11:53. Lyla Kinsler, Claire and Jaili Torp also ran for season bests of 14:04, 14:07 and 14:47 respectively. Bristol McCord recorded a new personal best by shaving off over a minute and a half finishing with a 15:51 and Autumn Palmer also dropped over a minute for a season best time of 16:13.
The boys were led by Aiden Lester posting an impressive lifetime best of 10:37 and finishing in 14th place with Ari Smith also adding another personal best time of 11:48. Brentton Palmer ran a 14:54 followed by Rex Stanley with a personal best time of 15:09 and Hayden Trenary dropped over a minute for his best time ever of 16:10.
This young team continues to put in the hard work and will travel to Lebanon on Wednesday for their last regular season race.
