The Varsity Volleyball team fell to Tri-West in three sets (19-25, 16-25, 20-25), but Coach Heide's eyes never drifted towards the scoreboard as she would go on to comment that "if you take away the numbers and one would have never known it was a loss." This season has come with a few setbacks, but it’s all about the comeback—and last night showed just how resilient this group is. Coach Heide was incredibly proud of how the team competed and described their efforts as fearless, adaptable, and fully engaged in every rally. Leading the offense at the net was senior Isabell Grady, who tallied 9 kills. On defense, senior Isabel Adams anchored the back row with 14 digs, while Kenleigh Raby and Grady each added 7 digs of their own. Alyssa Witte recorded a solo block, and Sage Ward and Emmerson Gott each added a block assist. At the serving line, Isabel Adams contributed two aces with strong, consistent serves, while Grady and Ward each added an ace of their own. Coach Heide believes that "the tough competition we’re facing is only making this team stronger, and that growth truly showed through their performance last night. It was a great night of volleyball and an even greater display of heart!"
