Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Lady Stars were back on familiar ground opening conference action against Danville and North Montgomery at Cool Lake. The varsity was able to secure 2 wins with a 191 to Danville's 204 and North Montgomery's incomplete team. Stefanie Dickerson took medalist honors with a 40. Lillie Cripe destroyed her previous personal best by firing a 48. Makenzie Amich shot a 50 and Ila Stokes a 53, setting a new personal best. In JV action the Lady Stars defeated Danville 233 to 247. Lyla Jackson led the way with a 56. Ally Sparks and Jaylee Dickerson had 57s and rounding out scores, was Amaya Westerfeld with a 63. The JV travels to McCutcheon to play in the Mavericks Invite on Wed Aug 3rd and both teams are at Deer Track on Aug 4th to take on Clinton Prairie and Clinton Central.
