5/18 Re-cap The Western Boone Junior Highs Softball A team finished their season on a high note by defeating the visiting Hamilton Heights Huskies 6-2. Ally Lewis got the start on the mound going 4 and 1/3 innings giving up 2 runs, 3 hits while striking out 9. The Stars were lead at the plate by Ashlynn Foster going 2 for 2 on the Evening. Payten Blankenship, Addi Lee and Lewis added hits of their own in the contest. The B team also had a good evening coming back from a two run deficit in the bottom of the 3rd to tie the Huskies. 11-11 Murryn Sturgis and Bailey Ford both went 2 for 3 while Caydence Paris added a hit of her own in the contest.
