The Stars came out strong against Tri-West, capitalizing early on free balls and playing smart, disciplined volleyball from start to finish. With a talented and versatile roster, the team continues to show their incredible potential—making it fun and effective to test new lineups and give players opportunities to shine in different roles. Despite the lineup changes, the girls adjusted better than expected, showing maturity beyond their years. Their ability to adapt and execute was on full display as they secured a solid two-set victory over Tri-West, winning 25-16 and 25-19. Player of the Game: Lexi Wilt Lexi continues to prove why she’s a standout on this team. Her versatility and athleticism allow her to excel in any position on the court. Against Tri-West, she led the team with 4 aces and 9 kills, playing with grit and intelligence throughout the match. Lexi’s strong serves, solid back row defense, and ability to adjust to any ball make her an invaluable asset—and a future varsity star. Her positive attitude and leadership set the tone for her teammates. Other Notable Performances: Quinn Cunningham added 3 kills and played with consistency and control at the net. Sullie Smith stepped in as a setter and impressed with her smooth transition and calm court presence. Emery Clements, typically a hitter, moved to the back row and made key defensive plays, keeping the ball alive and helping secure the win. Phoebe Bruder showed great improvement, stepping into a hitting role and notching several key kills for the Stars. Kenzie Mikesell delivered a standout defensive performance, refusing to let balls hit the floor and adding two crucial points with her serves. The growth of this team is exciting to witness. With a big week ahead and the conference tournament on the horizon, the Stars are gaining confidence and chemistry at the perfect time.
