Although the Stars didn’t come out on top last night, the score doesn’t fully reflect the growth this team has shown. The Stars fell in three sets (25-10, 25-18, 25-15), but there were plenty of bright spots to build on. One of the biggest accomplishments was in serve receive—our team reached the goal of averaging a 2.0, showing just how much improvement has been made in this area. At the net, Emily Shepherd led the way with 7 kills, Senior Emmerson Gott contributed 6 kills, sparking momentum and energy throughout the match. On defense, Isabel Adams led with 12 digs, while Kenleigh Raby added 8, and Reagan Harlos and Isabel Grady each contributed 4. Gott also added 3 blocks to round out a strong all-around performance. Looking ahead, the focus will be on building stronger connections at the net and continuing to strengthen defense consistency. The Stars are on the right path, and we’re excited for what’s ahead in the coming weeks!
