The Stars quickly got on the board with a straight sets victory from 1D Easton Nance and Owen Oakley. 2S Jacob Collins had a competitive match but also won in straight sets. There were several hard fought battles on the other courts as 2 matches went to a third set. 2D Burke Cavins and Zac Weesies came up short in a close match, but 1S Jon Rutherford clutched up for the Stars in his third set and secured an overall 3-2 victory for the team. Tomorrow, WeBo will host Hamilton Heights and will finish their week with a conference showdown on Thursday at Crawfordsville.
