The Cross Country teams travelled to Terre Haute this weekend for a preview of the Indiana State Championship course.  This event capped off a grueling week of races that have taken its toll on these two teams.   With a major focus on competing to their fullest potential at each race and proper recovery in between, each runner improved their time to either a season best and in most cases a personal best.  The Freshman crew showed tremendous drops in time Saturday with Owen Young finishing with a new PR in 19:37.75, followed by Caleb Crockett sporting a new personal best of 20:57.6, and for the girls, Britney Richwine stretched out her stride for a PR of 26:57.37 shaving off over 2 minutes from her previous best.  Overall the boys finished 19th out of 28 teams, while the girls took 11th of 22.  The Stars will be back in action this Thursday at North Montgomery for the Charger Classic.
