Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone 8th grade volleyball team came away with an exciting win in two sets last night, defeating Danville 25-17 and 25-21. The Stars started strong in the first set, using solid serve receive and quick ball movement to control the pace and earn a 25-17 victory. The second set brought even more energy and determination. After falling behind by nearly 10 points, the team rallied together. Molly and Harper stepped up with big serving runs, and the offense came alive to swing the momentum back in Western Boone’s favor. Ella was a steady leader on the court with 17 assists and 2 aces, while Cora made key contributions with 4 assists and 9 digs. Ady and Blaize were dominant at the net with 7 kills each, and Molly lead the team with her addition of 4 aces and 4 kills. The team’s improved communication and strong serve receive helped them finish both sets with confidence. It was a true team effort and a great display of resilience to bring home the win.
