Despite JV’s outcome last night, their match kept you on the edge of your seat the whole time. They played together as a team and fought for every point, never letting up. What stood out most was seeing the girls smiling and enjoying their time on the court—showing that the scoreboard never measures heart, hustle, and effort. Their energy and togetherness made it a great match to watch, regardless of the final score. Varsity Although the final scores of 19-25, 9-25, and 13-25 didn’t end in our favor, there were strong moments of growth throughout the match. In the first set, we stayed competitive and kept the score close, showing that when we communicate and execute our fundamentals, we can push strong opponents. Defensively, Isabel Adams, Reagan Harlos, and Emma Delp made key contributions with their effort and consistency, keeping rallies alive and giving us opportunities to score. Even in the tougher stretches, the team showed resilience by continuing to fight for every point and not giving up. Each match gives us more experience and highlights the areas we can sharpen, and tonight was another step forward in building confidence, consistency, and teamwork.
