The 8th grade team came out strong and never let up, defeating Greencastle in straight sets, 25-10 and 25-15. Consistent serving and solid offense set the tone for the match. Ella led the offense with 5 assists and added 3 aces from the service line. Ady was dominant at the line as well, tallying 5 aces. Cora and Kaity each contributed 4 aces, while Zoie added 3 more to keep the pressure on Greencastle. At the net, Blaize and Molly both put down 2 kills to round out the attack. The team kept momentum in both sets, running an effective offense and maintaining strong serve receive, which fueled their ability to control the match from start to finish.
