The varsity didn't quite play their cleanest volleyball but, coaches are proud the team didn't quit and hang their heads. The team kept battling (16-25, 18-25, and 17-25) and that's the type of resilience that will pay off once errors are cut down. The close contest will pay dividends for the Lady Stars the rest of the way. "We know we can compete -now it's about staying disciplined so our play matches our potential. The effort is their so now we have to sharpen the tools in practice." Although JV are still looking for that first win, they pushed to three sets last night. Coming back from being down the first set, to winning it 27-25. True resiliency in that they're headed in the right direction.
