The Western Boone boy's tennis team defended their WeBo Invite tournament title by going 3-0 on the day Saturday. The Stars were led by Jon Rutherford, Owen Oakley, and Easton Nance who went 3-0 on the day. The Stars defeated the Covington Trojans 4-1, the Lawrence Central Bears 5-0, and the Speedway Sparkplugs 5-0. The Stars are back in action Tuesday when they travel to the Frankfort Hot Dogs for a 5 PM start.
