Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Jr. High girls' soccer team was defeated on Wednesday night by the Southmont Mounties by a score of 8-0. The Stars played down a player the entire game and held the Mounties to 3 goals until the final 15 minutes, when the Mounties were able to take advantage of their fresher legs to find the back of the net with some excellent shots. Violet Hilger had 11 saves in goal for the Stars.   The Stars are now 0-2 and will host Frankfort next Wednesday at 5 pm.
