8th GRADE - The 8th grade team battled against Cascade last night winning 25-8 in the first set and 25-19 in the second set. Ady Nicley led the team with 6 aces and 7 kills. Molly Rausch had 5 aces and 3 kills. Ella Oakley had 14 assists. 7th GRADE - It was a tough and competitive match against Cascade, but our Stars fought with heart and determination from the first serve to the final point. The early-season conference battle gave the team a chance to shake off some jitters and show their potential, and the team rose to the challenge. The team dropped both sets with scores of 19-25 and 21-25, but the effort was strong throughout. Bristol Demaree stood out as our STAR player of the night - flawless from the service line, leading the team in assists, and playing with consistency and confidence. Her effort anchored our play and kept us in rhythm throughout the match. We had serval strong serving runs that helped shift momentum and stack up point, thanks to Eliza Baird, Jade Hobson, and Sullie Smith. Their focus and energy kept the pressure on Cascade during key stretches. Offensively, Lexi Wilt delivered a number of impressive kills and smart ball placement that helped close scoring gaps and fire up the team. While Cascade came out on top this time, we gained valuable experience and are already looking forward to facing them again in the conference tournament. This match proved that we have the talent, teamwork, and grit to compete with the best.
