Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone JH Boys Golf team traveled to Turkey Run Golf Course on Tuesday afternoon to take on North Putnam in a head to head match. Rain was in the area but the course stayed dry as the Stars were able to put a great team effort together to beat the Cougars 177 - 202. The team was led by a pair of 42's from Co-Medalists Rex Stanley and Timothy Boddicker. Landen Miller added his breakout round with a personal best 45. Carson Richardson also added a 48 to complete the team scoring. Two extra matches were also contested as Mason Bowman and Kolten Conner both came away with individual wins in their matches. This improves the Stars record to 11-1. The Stars will travel to Crawfordsville on Thursday to take on the Athenians for their final match of the year.
