It was a great evening to hold a match out at Cool Lake Tuesday as the Stars JH Boys Golf team looked to stay perfect on the year and battled Lebanon a third time this season. This time the teams agreed to mix it up a bit and challenged each other to a match play event. 6 points were up for grabs with a point for each head to head match that was set up. The Stars were able to win the overall match by a score of 5 - 1. The team was led by a great round from Rex Stanley as he went 9UP in his match to secure the point for the Stars. The rest of the matches were closer as Carson Richardson, Wayde Pollard, Hayden Demaree & Tate Wood all won their matches 1UP. A few extra rounds were also played out on the course and a round of note was Mason Bowman's as he shot a personal best 47. The Stars are back in action on Thursday against Southmont.
