Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone Stars traveled to Zionsville High School for the annual Boone County Track Meet. It was a chilly night, but several Stars hit personal bests. A lot of new faces shined bright in their first outdoor meet of the season! Boys highlights were: Mason Tomes placed 2nd in the 100m dash (11.71), Isaac Threlkeld placed 3rd in the 400m dash (57.29), and Nate Moore finished 2nd in the 300m hurdles (45.15) and 3rd in the 110m hurdles (18.92). Girls highlights were: Emmy Roys placing 1st in both the shot put (36'1") and discus throw (116'7"), Ki'erra Koch was 1st in the long jump (15'9"), KaLeigh Steimel was 1st in the 300m hurdles (53.86), Raegan Durbin was 1st in the 100m hurdles (18.48), Lily Shirley was 1st in the 100m dash (13.81), and Hannah Haag was 1st in the 3200m run (13:13.14).
