The WeBo Stars Boys and Girls Track Teams traveled to UIndy Wednesday night for a competitive indoor meet to begin the 2023 season. Warren Central hosted a great meet – others in attendance were: Greenfield-Central, Mooresville, Greenwood Christian, Covenant Christian, Greenwood Community, Purdue Polytechnic, and a handful of others. Highlights from the night were Ki’erra Koch winning the long jump with a distance of 16’3”, Kennedy Kiger throwing her personal best shot put distance of 35’3” to place 3rd, and Mason Tomes taking 4th place in the 60m Dash with a time of 7.41. NEW SCHOOL RECORD: Emmy Roys broke the shot put record with a throw of 36’9” to break the previous record by 9”!
