JH girls swimmers place 5th at Conference

The girls Junior High swim team finished up their season last night at Conference. The 200 Medley Relay of Isabelle Sturgis, Eisley Whiteley, Claire Torp and Evie Maurath finished 7th. In the 200 Free Jaili Torp won her heat and dropped over 8 seconds to finish 7th. Evie Maurath finished 10th and Joan Gearheart finished 14th. In the 100 IM Isabelle Sturgis finished 12th and Aveline Orr placed 18th. In the 50 Free both Kyndal Dickerson and Kate Foy won their respective heats. Kyndal dropped 2 seconds to finish 8th overall. Kate finished 15th and Hannah Ranney dropped time to finish 12th. In Diving Joan Gearheart got second, Eisley Whiteley sixth and Isabella Sparks finished 7th. Clair Torp dropped time in the 50 fly to finish 9th and Autumn Palmer finished 17th. In the 100 Free Isabelle Sturgis dropped over a second to finish 5th, Evie Maurath won her heat and dropped 2 seconds to finish 9th and Adalyn Sartin dropped 3 seconds to finish 15th. In the 400 Free Clair Torp finished 7th, Rachel Rustin won her heat and dropped over 7 seconds to finish 8th and Rylee Pelley finished 9th. The 200 Free Relay of Kyndal Dickerson, Hannah Ranney, Jaili Torp and Rylee Pelley finished 5th. In the 100 Backstroke Kyndal Dickerson dropped 9 seconds to finish 11th, Jaili Torp finished 13th, and Hannah Ranney dropped over 2 seconds to finish 15th. In the 100 Breaststroke Eisley Whiteley dropped over 4 seconds to finish 4th, Rylee Pelley finished 18th and Avery Schrier dropped time to finish 20th. In the final event of the meet, the 400 Free Relay, the relay team of Joan Gearheart, Evie Maurath, Eisley Whiteley and Isabelle Sturgis finished in 6th place. It has been an amazing season with lots of time drops and growth for these girls.
