The varsity girls tennis team responded to Tuesday's close loss with a dominant 5-0 win versus a solid Rossville team on Wednesday. 2D Anderson/Maners picked up the first point of the day in straight sets, followed by 1D Ransom/Smith. Both doubles teams are now 5-1 on the season. Next up was 3S Strong securing a two set win and moving to 5-1 as well. 2S Brunty lost the first set 1-6 before capturing momentum and winning the next two 6-0, 6-1. At 1S, Adams won a close back and forth first set 7-5 and then pulled away in the second, winning 6-2. The varsity team is now 4-2 overall and will host the WeBo Tourney Saturday at 9am. They will be joined by Speedway, Benton Central, and Lafayette Central Catholic. On the JV side, 1S Ellie Whiteley, 2S Eisley Whiteley, and 1D Baird/Hayden all won their matches to advance the team to 4-2.
