The varsity girls tennis team lost to Covington Tuesday in a close 2-3 match. 2D Maners/Anderson secured another great win after coming back in the second set and taking the tiebreaker, while 3S Strong won in three sets. 1D Ransom/Smith lost in three sets and 1S Adams and 2S Brunty lost in straight sets. The varsity team is now 3-2. JV won 3-2 with 1S Ellie Whiteley and both doubles teams (Baird/Hayden and Gaines/Wagner) winning their matches. The JV team is now 3-2 as well. The Stars will travel to Rossville Thursday for a 5PM start.
