The Lady Stars faced off against their cross-county rival Lebanon Tigers last night and picked up their 3rd conference win and 5th win in a row with a score of 14-4. Ally Lewis got the start and pitched a 7-inning complete game allowing 4 runs (2 earned) on 8 hits while striking out 10. On offense the stars got things going early when Mikayla Naanos went yard to left field for 2 runs in the first inning. The Stars would plate 2 runs each of the first 3 innings and capped off their scoring with 4 in the 7th. Naanos also picked up two doubles as Morganne Grant and Kenzlei Mathews also had 3 hits of their own in the contest for a total of 14 Western Boone hits, along with the 14 runs plated. The Stars will try to complete the series sweep at home tonight at Western Boone with a 6pm start. Come out and cheer for the Stars!
