The Lady Stars traveled to Clinton Central last night to take on the Lady Bulldogs and picked up their 5th win off the season in 5 innings. The Stars plated 15 runs and allowed one unearned run in the contest. Raina Lutz got the start and went 3 innings allowing no runs on no hits and striking out 3. Mickey Burns came in and closed things out giving up no earned runs on 1 hit while striking out 4 over 2 innings. Lutz and Ally Lewis managed 2 hits in the win with one of them being a 3-run homerun by Lutz in the 2nd inning, her 4th of the season. The Stars are back in action today as they travel to Lebanon to take on conference and county rival Lady Tigers at 6pm.
