The Lady Stars were back in action last night as they hosted the Lady Charges of North Montgomery and picked up their second conference win with a 13-3, 5 inning run rule shortened contest. The Stars scored in all 5 innings with a 7-run outburst in the 3rd on 5 hits. McKayley Burns got the start giving up 3 runs on 3 hits before Ally Lewis stepped in to close out the game. Lewis allowed no runs on 1 hit striking out 7 in 4&1/3rd innings pitched. The Stars accumulated 13 hits with Mikayla Naanos, Addi Lee, Morganne Grant, Lewis and Burns collecting multiple base hits on the evening. The Lady Stars will travel to Kokomo Saturday April 19th to take on the Lady Wildkats.
