Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

It was a cold and very windy afternoon at Cool Lake Golf Club where the Western Boone JH Boys Golf team had their first action of the year against Lebanon and Frankfort in a three-way match. Western Boone won the overall match with a combined score of 190 versus 222 and 232 for Lebanon and Frankfort respectively. Three returning 8th graders, Timothy Boddicker, Rex Stanley & Carson Richardson, led the way and tied for low metalist with scores of 47. Tate Wood added a 49, Hayden Demaree a 55 & Landen Miller a 56. It was a great team effort and win. 4 sixth graders saw their first matches of their JH careers and turned in impressive scores. Mason Bowman 56, Blake Stokes 57, Jase Young 69, Max Rawlings 69. The JH Golf team will travel to Rocky Ridge on Thursday to take on North Montgomery and Lebanon.
