Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone Lady Stars opened up Sagamore Conference play last night with a 15-3, 5 inning win over the Lady Chargers of North Montgomery. The Stars took just a bit to get going scoring only 1 run in the first two innings but then dropped 5 runs in the 3rd and then finished things of with an 8 run 10 hit 5th inning. Ally Lewis got the start giving up one earned run on 2 hits and striking out 6. Raina Lutz came it to close out the 5th striking out 1 and allowing 2 hits. The stars racked up 17 hits and plated 15 runs. Raina Lutz recorded her 3 Home Run of the season while a host of Stars including Addi Lee, Kirstin McCormack, Morganne Grant, Mickey Burns, Lewis and Lutz added multiple hits of their own. The Stars will host the same Lady Chargers Wednesday April 16th at 5:30pm, come out and support the Lady Stars.
