The Western Boone Stars Track & Field teams hosted the first home meet of the season on a chilly Tuesday evening. The Danville Warriors were the opponents in the duel meet and they brought some very tough competition. Danville ended up notching a win in both boys and girls, but the Stars had a ton of great efforts all-around. Wyatt Dickey broke the school record in the Shot Put with a throw of 48’8.5”! The previous record was held by Jeff Wolfe with a throw of 48’1.5” back in 1985.
