Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone Stars Track & Field team traveled to Zionsville for the annual Boone County Meet. It was a chilly evening, but the athletes pushed through and had a great competition throughout the meet. There were a lot of Stars competing for the first time in their careers and the coaches are very pleased with how they showed up ready to compete! This was a great start to the season, and we will continue to get better in all 16 events! Highlights of the night were the 1st place finishes of: Wyatt Dickey (Shot Put, Discus), Kate Higer, Joan Gearheart, Lindsey Steimel, and Charlotte Stucky (4x800m Relay), and Kate Higer (400m Dash).
