JH Girl Swimmers Finish 4th at Conference

JH girl swimmers finish 4th at Conference It was a fun fast night of swimming at the girls middle school conference last night. The girls season started off slow but they finished strong tonight. There was lots of improvement over the season. The 200 Medley Relay team of Maelynn Stambro, Josie Berkopes, Rachel Rustin and Mackenzie Clements dropped over 12 seconds and finished 7th. In the 200 Free Rachel Rustin finished 9th and swam a new best time. Ava Quilter finished 11th dropping over 2 seconds. Zoey Ford finished 14th. In the 100 IM Hannah Ranney dropped over 7 seconds to finish in 12th place. Mackenzie Clements dropped over 4 seconds and finished 14th. Josie Berkopes finished in 16th place. In the 50 Free Annastyn Beesley finished 15th and Lillian Miller placed 19th. Kate Foy placed 6th in Diving and Leah Jones placed 13th. In the 50 Fly Ava Quilter dropped over 6 seconds to finish 7th. Violet Hillger also swam a new best time to finish 15th and Kynadi Dickerson placed 18th. Hannah Ranney placed 7th in the 100 Free. Maelynn Stambro placed 16th and Alisha Manning swam a new best time finishing in 18th place. In the 400 Free Rachel Rustin placed 9th and Zoey Ford swam a new best time finishing 11th. The 200 Free Relay team of Mackenzie Clements, Leah Jones, Hannah Ranney and Ava Quilter dropped over 13 seconds to finish 5th. In the 100 Back Leah Jones placed 11th, Maelynn Stambro was 15th and Violet Hillger finished 20th with a new best time. In the 100 Breast Josie Berkopes dropped almost 4 seconds to place 10th. Kenzie Clements finished in 12th place and Kate Foy placed 14th with a new best time. The 400 Free Relay team of Maelynn Stambro, Josie Berkopes, Hannah Ranney and Rachel Rustin dropped over 15 seconds to finish 5th. The girls finish with an overall record of 6-7.
