Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The JH boys swim team competed in their final meet of the season on Tuesday. They finished the season strong with some new best times and wonderful team spirit. The boys 200 Medley Relay team of Blaine Ballentine, Harlan Threlkeld, Kolten Conner and Landon Smith started the meet off strong by finishing in 5th place and dropping over 9 seconds. In the 200 Free Zach Ford finished 4th, Kolten Conner finished 12th and Eli Baldwin dropped over 8 seconds to swim a new best time and finish 13th. Harlan Threlkeld finished 7th in the 100 IM and Ari Smith finished 11th. In the 50 Free Landon Smith finished 8th with a new best time. Liam Sartin finished in 14th place with a new best time and Nathan Cynor finished in 16th place. In Diving Blaine Ballentine finished in 4th place and Lian Sartin in his first year of diving finished 8th. Kolten Conner placed 7th in the 50 Fly. In the 100 Free Blaine Ballentine finished 7th with a new best time and Landon Smith placed 9th. Zach Ford placed 6th in the 400 Free. The 200 Free Relay of Ari Smith, Zach Ford, Landon Smith and Kolten Conner dropped over 13 seconds to finish 4th. In the 100 Back Eli Baldwin placed 10th, Wayde Pollard placed 15th and Greyson Boggs placed 19th. In the 100 Breaststroke Harlan Threlkeld placed 11th and Ari Smith placed 12th finishing with a new best time. The 400 Free Relay of Blaine Ballentine, Eli Baldwin, Harlan Threlkeld and Zach Ford finished in 6th place. The boys finish their season with a record 7-6.
