Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone Stars Track & Field teams traveled to UIndy Wednesday night to compete in a HSR qualifying meet hosted by Warren Central. This meet did not keep a team score, but all athletes were competing their best to qualify and represent their school in the HSR Indoor State Championships on Saturday March 29th. The Stars competed well all night long and started the season off on a great note. This was many athletes first ever track meet so times and distances will only improve as the season continues with outdoor meets. Girls that have a qualifying time or a good chance of qualifying for the HSR Indoor State Finals are: Lily Shirley (60m, currently time qualifies); Kate Higer, Joan Gearheart, Lindsey Steimel, Charlotte Stucky (4x800m Relay).
