JH swimmers split meet with North Putnam

The Junior High swimmers travelled to North Putnam on Tuesday. The girls team won their first meet of the season by a score of 92-84. The boys swam hard and finished with a score of 78-97. The 200 Medley Relay team of Maelynn Stambro, Josie Berkopes, Rachel Rustin and Hannah Ranney finished first. In the 100 IM both Rachel Rustin and Mackenzie Clements swam new best times. Lillian Miller and Kynadi Dickerson both swam new best times in the 50 Free. Kate Foy and Leah Jones went 1-2 in Diving. In the 50 Fly both Zoey Ford and Violet Hillger dropped time. In the 100 Free Hannah Ranney, Annastyn Beesley, Alisha Manning, Lillian Miller and Kynadi Dickerson all swam new best times. In the 400 Free Zoey Ford swam a new best time. Maelynn Stambro won the 100 Back and Violet Hillger swam a new best time. Josie Berkopes won the 100 Breaststroke. Eli Baldwin swam a new best time in the 200 Free by dropping over 5 seconds. Wayde Pollard dropped almost 10 seconds for a new best time in the 200 Free. Zach Ford, Landon Smith, Enzo Heredia and Liam Sartin all swam new best times in the 50 Free. Kolten Conner swam a new best time in the 50 Fly. In the 100 Free Landon Smith, Enzo Heredia and Jackson Strong all swam new best times. In the 400 Free Zach Ford finished first and swam under 6 minutes for the first time in his career. In the 100 Back both Blaine Ballentine and Greyson Boggs finished with new best times. In the 100 Breaststroke Harlan Threlkeld dropped over 7 seconds to finish with a new best time. The Stars are back in the pool on Thursday against Greencastle.
