Lady Stars finish season with 6th place finish at Sectionals

The Western Boone Girls swim team competed against 13 teams Saturday at the 2025 Swimming and Diving Sectional Finals meet. The team of Jenna Twitty, Eisley Whitely, Joan Gearheart and Kyndal Dickerson won 6th place with a season best time of 2:10.50 in the 200 Medley Relay. In the 200 Free Evie Maurath took 5th place with a new season best time of 2:19.26, Rylee Pelley got 13th, and Rebecca Rustin got 14th. Eisley Whitely won 5th place with a new season best time of 2:35.12 in the 200 IM, and Claire Torp took 13th with a new season best time of 2:57.73. Kyndal Dickerson got 15th place in the 50 Free, and in the 100 Butterfly Jenna Twitty placed 5th and Jaili Torp placed 13th. Evie Maurath placed 13th in the 100 Free with a new season best time of 1:03.59, and in the 500 Free Rylee Pelley placed 9th with a new season best time of 6:27.53 and Rebecca Rustin placed 13th with a new season best time of 6:47.55. Webo took 6th in the 200 Free Relay with the team of Evie Maurath, Joan Gearheart, Kyndal Dickerson, and Rebecca Rustin with a new season best time of 2:02.84. Jenna Twitty placed 6th in the 100 Backstroke (1:10.22) and Jaili Torp finished 11th with a new season best time of 1:18.40. Eisley Whitely finished 6th in the 100 Breaststroke with a new season best time of 1:20.18, and the team of Evie Maurath, Rebecca Rustin, Eisley Whitely, and Jenna Twitty won 3rd place in the 400 Free Relay with a new season best time of 4:09.73. The girls finished in 6th place overall in Sectional competition. The girls team had an amazing season and swam their hearts out to finish with a season they should all be very proud of.
