Lady Stars Battle Hard in Final Game Against North Montgomery Chargers The Western Boone Lady Stars gave it their all in their final game against the North Montgomery Chargers, delivering a thrilling matchup filled with intensity and heart. The game started off close, with the Stars trailing by just one point at the end of the first quarter, 9-8. Amaya Westerfield came through with another clutch three-pointer to give her team the lead. In the second quarter, the Stars’ relentless defense kept them right in the fight, but by halftime, they still trailed by just one. Coming out of the locker room, the Stars brought the energy. The third quarter was electric—Olivia Regan caught fire from beyond the arc, sinking three three-pointers in a dominant stretch. The team outscored the Chargers by five in the quarter, proving they weren’t going down without a fight. Ally Lewis led the team with 18 points, while Regan finished with an impressive 15. In the fourth quarter, the Stars fought hard, refusing to back down. But despite their effort, the Chargers managed to pull away, taking the game by nine.
