Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Stars led from start to finish and played great team basketball for 32 minutes! The team put up a season-high 77 points and 19 assists. The Stars won by the score of 77-57. This was the first conference win of the season for the team. Gavin Hawkins finished with 16 points and 5 steals. Quinn Westerfeld had 26 points and 12 rebounds. Tristyn Faulk had a great all-around game with 12 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists. Luke Adkins also chipped in 8 points. The team is now 3-9 overall and hosts Faith Christian on Tuesday evening. JV Game: The Stars started off slow offensively Friday night and fell behind to the Hot Dogs by the score of 22-17 at halftime. The team responded well in the third quarter with solid team defense and had a good run and outscored the Hot Dogs 19-5 in the quarter. The Stars would go on to win 48-31. Burke Cavins led the team with 16 points and Owen Oakley finished with 14 points.
