The Lady Stars came out strong in the first quarter against the Crawfordsville High School Athenians, launching into an impressive 15-3 run and setting the tone early. However, Crawfordsville fought back in the second quarter, narrowing the gap to just three points by halftime. In the third quarter, the Stars began to regain their momentum, but the Athenians refused to back down, keeping the game competitive. Then came the fourth quarter—and that’s when the Stars truly took off. Ally Lewis led the charge, dominating the court with an incredible 23 points, nearly half of the team’s total 53 points. Rebecca Keys and Isabella Grady also made a huge impact, grabbing key rebounds that helped secure the Stars’ 53-36 victory! The Lady Stars are back in action this Friday against the Frankfort Hotdogs! Come out and cheer them on as they continue their winning streak! The JV Girls Basketball team hosted Crawfordsville Tuesday evening and with only six players able to compete, the young Stars struggled to find a rhythm throughout the entire game.  In the first quarter, Webo gave up 11 points and could only get four, but battled back in the second to go into the half tied at 13 to 13.  The third quarter ended with another tie, 20 to 20.  The Athenian's fouls caught up with them in the fourth and the Stars were able to capitalize on the free throws to close out the game with another win of 30 to 25.  This team fought hard through the entire game with very few breaks, and every member contributed to the final score.
