Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The 6th grade Stars took on a feisty Gophers team at Clinton Prairie Monday night. The Stars struggled with tempo and turnovers throughout the game. The team managed to find a way to stay ahead and gut it out with defense, transition points and points in the paint to finish on top 41 - 34. The Stars were led defensively by Corbin Eckart and Cannon Dunk. The big men led the offense with Wyatt Redman scoring 18 and Spencer Worrell scored 13. In the B game, the Stars again played great defense to stifle the Gophers offense. Offensely, the points were spread around as 6 of 7 players scored points with Gage Miller leading the way with 4 points. The Stars won 17 - 6.
