The Lady Stars traveled to Rossville on Tuesday, putting up a fight but falling to the Hornets 37-51. The Stars and Hornets went back and forth throughout the first half, with the Stars getting good looks at the basket, but struggling to hit shots. The Lady Stars went into halftime down 8, looking to adjust their game plan to turn things around in the second half. Unfortunately, the second half was more of the same for the Stars as they were unable to capitalize on their offense possessions or hit shots. The Stars were led in scoring by Ally Lewis with 15 points, followed by Jaylee Dickerson and Olivia Reagan with 7 points each. The Lady Stars are back in action on Friday at Tri-West. Go Stars! The JV Girls Basketball team travelled to Rossville Tuesday evening and struggled early in the game with multiple turnovers and difficulties finishing at the basket.  While the Stars found themselves down 9 to 4 in the first quarter, they bounced back to hold the Hornets scoreless in the second to go into the locker room up 12 to 9 at the half.  The third quarter was evenly matched with Webo leading 21 to 17 but the fourth quarter proved to be their demise.  With foul trouble plaguing this young team, Rossville was sent to the line six times while the Stars were only able to drop one bucket, finishing with a final score of 30 to 23.  This brings the JV record to 2 and 1 with another game on Thursday at home against Tri-West.
