Despite early shooting struggles, the 7th Stars got out to a commanding lead and never looked back. Defense was key and led to steal after steal, leading to fastbreak points. Stats for the game included: Fields with back-to-back double-doubles... 22 pts 12 rebs, Harrison 10 pts 6 rebs, Potter 8 pts 1 reb, Devol 2 pts 2 rebs, Larew 2 pts 1 reb, Trincado 2 pts 1 reb, Gallimore 2 rebs, Meyer 1 reb. The gamed ended 48-6 in the Stars favor. The 8th Grade Stars played the 2nd game of the double header. It was a back-and-forth contest between both teams and each made scoring runs during the game. The game came down the last possession with 4 seconds left. The Bulldogs got off a shot as time expired to sink the Stars 45-44. Boddicker led Stars with 24, Young 9, Mitchell 6, Jackson 3 and Wilson 2. The Stars face Danville next week.
