The 7th grade Stars had a fantastic start to the game with multiple early fastbreaks led by Jackson Potter who had 10 1st quarter points. The early lead we got was too much for Rossville to mount a comeback. We won 49-38. Potter led with 23 pts 2 rebs, Fields with a double-double of 12 pts 10 rebs, Harrison 7 pts 3 rebs, Larew 4 pts 2 rebs, Devol 3 pts 6 rebs, Demaree with 1 reb. The 8th grade Stars played host to the Rossville Hornet. The Stars got off to a slow start but battled back by forcing turnovers and getting better shots to drop. Rossville went into half up 19-13. During the second half the Stars pulled a little closer, but just have a tough time stopping the Hornets in the paint. The Stars fell 43-36. Boddicker led Stars with 12, Wilson 8, Mitchell 7, Young 5, Eastwood and Jackson 2. Both teams are back in action tonight at 6 pm at Clinton Central.
