The 8th grade Stars hosted the Frankfort Hotdogs for A/B Team doubleheader. The A Team got off to a shaky start and fought through a tough first half to go into the half 18-14. The second half saw the Frankfort Hotdogs use their size and hustle to take over and take the win from the Stars 29-25. Boddicker 11, Mitchell 7, Young 4 and Eastwood 2. The B Team took the court, played with heart, hustled after loose balls, and never looked back. Dominated both halves with ball movement, finding open man, a solid team effort. Got the win 45-25. Wilson 16, Keith 8, Snoke 7, Keyes 5, Wilt 4 and Richardson 3. Stars host Speedway Thursday night. The 7th grade Stars took on an aggressive Frankfort team on Tuesday night to get off to an early lead. Despite a solid comeback attempt with Tate Fields hitting two 3s in the 3rd quarter, the Stars fell short by a score of 27-61. The team had balanced scoring with Fields leading with 8pts 7 rebs, Potter 7 pts 1 reb, Harrison 5 pts 1 reb, Devol 3 pts 2 rebs, Linton 2 pts 4 rebs, and Larew 2 pts.
