Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Junior High Cross Country team finished their season Saturday at the State Finals in Terre Haute. This is an event where every team in Indiana can compete in either a small or big school race that hosts over 2300 runners. In the small school girls race Abigayle Humphrey finished in 49th place with Britney Richwine, Bristol McCord and Alisha Manning finishing 118th, 123rd and 125th. In the boys small school race it was Ari Smith in 6th place and Owen Young in 38th place with Nate Muir crossing in 88th. Rex Stanley finished 97th with Wyatt Delp at 194th and Hayden Trenary in 196th place. This has been a dedicated group putting in the work all season long with every member improving week after week.
